Meet the characters *

Meet the characters who taught me about being kind and respectful to all living beings. Each book invites children into a magical world of friendship and fun.

Stiggy

Stiggy is a gentle boy with red hair. He is curious and kind. He loves nature and can often be found bird watching/lying in the grass looking up at the clouds/climbing a tree/watching butterflies. He has great eyesight, which helps him to watch nature! He is kind-hearted and does all he can to look after wildlife whenever he can.

Stoggy

A cartoon fairy with long orange hair, wearing a blue striped dress, with large purple and pink wings, smiling and raising a hand.

Stoggy is a wise old man with green eyebrows and beard, and leaves for hair. He has an oak‑bark body and leafy arms. He has been rowing for a long time and knows that strength comes from staying grounded and connected to the world. He loves to tell riddles and jokes. He loves all creatures – people, plants, animals and even the smallest bugs – because he thinks they are all part of one big, shared family.

Poppoit

Poppoit is a fairy with blonde hair. She wears a halo of spring flowers in her hair. She may be small, but she is very brave! She loves Lisa and the adventures they go on together. Poppoit loves to make up stories about flowers, trees and garden creatures, and she often stops to talk to worms, spiders and other tiny creatures. She believes that every living thing has a voice worth hearing.
